The association was created in December 2019, legally representing the Arab Union of specialized woman, Tunisia section. Since its creation, it has worked to enhance the role of women in Arab and African countries and has about twenty registered members. It aims at achieving active participation on the social, economic and political level in order to create equality between genders.

Its main objectives are:
Promoting cooperation between Arab and African women, strengthening their interests in the legislative, executive and judicial fields and in decision-making
Promoting equal rights as well as an equitable sharing of resources and responsibilities between women and men
Strengthening the role of specialized women in the field of the peaceful resolution of Conflicts
Participating in charitable works through the distribution of in-kind donations to families in need with an emphasis on widowed and those who are in a precarious situation
