About LET
The League of Tunisian Women Voters (LET) is an association founded in 2011, after the January 14 revolution. This association is the result of a meeting of a group of women, different in their fields of activity, but united in their awareness of the importance of the role of women in supporting the electoral practice. The members of LET also believe in the importance of the political participation of young people of both sexes in order to make the dream of democracy a reality in Tunisia.
Our mission is to enhance the capacity of women to participate effectively in public affairs, particularly in politics, as voters and candidates. In addition, LET wants to assist women in their contribution to the realization of a principled electoral exercise that is consistent with human rights standards as well as social gender.
