ABOUT THE PROJECT
ISNAD Project aims at promoting the local food system by addressing main gaps in the targeted value chains (dairy, fruits and vegetables, legumes and cereals) through promoting small-scale farmers and producers, promoting sustainable agricultural practices and facilitating market linkages, integrating innovation in authentic food production and enhancing product quality.
This project is comprised of two phases; capacity building for 500 farmers and capacity building for 30 coops/SMEs. In the first phase, LLWB offers a holistic training in technical, soft skills and linkages to job market in the north region. In the second phase, LLWB provides access to knowledge, market and finance in the Beqaa region with a special focus on women in the Beqaa and in the North area as well.
