ABOUT THE PROJECT
The overall outcome of this project is improved well-being, dignity and safety of SGBV survivors. Conflict-affected women and girls 15+ are better able to understand and access their rights to participate in psychosocial, recreational, economic empowerment, educational, family and community decision-making processes. Emma is providing quality SGBV case management and a well-functioning referral system; MHPSS services including emotional support and psychological first aid, trauma counseling, social integration and recreational activities, to women and girls surviving or at risk of SGBV through the established women’s centre and mobile teams.

PSS activities for women and girls including life, leadership skills, grassroots advocacy which cover recreational, art therapy, reproductive health, confidence and self-esteem building, advocacy, communication and negotiation skills, is conducting in sessions appropriate to their age to improve self-reliance, resilience and self-worth and restore their dignity. PSS sessions for men and boys will continue on a weekly basis providing sessions about masculinity. However, through conducting a more vigorous outreach, men and boys who have survived or at risk of SGBV will be identified and supported.
